Skip Schumaker’s baseball card overtaken by rally squirrel
Skip Schumaker’s 2012 Topps card may be the best baseball card since Billy Ripken’s “Fuck Face” card from 1989.
Schumaker’s card features part of his right leg and the “Rally squirrel.”
The squirrel crossed Schumaker’s path during Game 4 of the NLDS. The squirrel became known as the “Rally squirrel” during the Cardinals unlikely march to a World Series title.
The card is in “short-print,” which means some middle-aged collector living in his mother’s basement will try and screw some kid out of the rare card.
